Job description:

• Dealing with and resolving complex support issues with users in real-time;
• Responding timely to incoming application support tickets;
• Logging all user contact information accurately in the internal help desk ticketing system, maintaining complete and accurate information;
• Documenting all user contact and notes and maintaining an accurate history for each customer;
• Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating information technology systems operations to diagnose the issue (a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required to apply general business practices to the solution);
• Recreating the issue in-house on test systems to isolate the cause of the issue.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer facing skills both on the phone and written, with the ability troubleshoot software issues with other companies IT departments;
• Computer literate, troubleshooting and analytical abilities. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within IT field;
• Computer knowledge:
Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2000, Windows 7, Internet Information Server (IIS), SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2008, Oracle 10, Oracle 11, Oracle OAS are all preferable;
• Knowledge of.net, SQL trouble shooting and queries is a plus;
• Knowledge of asset management or document management software is a plus.
