Accounting Process Excellence Team Manager

● Identify the Finance department process improvement opportunities, from both efficiency and effectiveness perspective, and deliver relevant solutions.
● Responsible for process harmonization & structured process development with Operational Managers and operational teams ensuring the business relevancy of the
solutions (based on understanding customer needs and requirements)
● Designing and reviewing E2E processes: new and existing
● Participate and manage (from the GBS side) SAP / Basware / Concur or other systems related development projects
● Manage changes due to transitions that are related to process/systems
● Maintain knowledge of related regulatory frameworks and policies
● Manage priorities and communication and progress on process/system development between Operations
● Managers, Global Process Owners, IT, Finance department
● Innovation & identification of process development opportunities, managing automation projects with RPA teams: Hackathon, small development projects, inhouse automation development
● Service architecture development (incl. service catalogues, self-service, ticketing etc.)
● Internal and external benchmarking of GBS solutions
● Responsible for communications on system/process changes to all stakeholders


● University degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or another relevant field
● At least 3-5 years’ experience in similar development positions as a team lead or project manager
● Knowledge of finance operations and finance development
● Knowledge and experience of applying Lean Six Sigma, Agile or other relevant project management methods in your previous work history
● Knowledge and understanding of relevant RPA implementation and development projects are an asset
● Relevant industry knowledge and experience in Shared Service Centers is an asset
● Excellent process analysis skills
● Excellent understanding of accounting end-to-end process(es)
● Solution-oriented, problem-solving skills
● Lean Six Sigma and Data models
● Communication and interpersonal skills
● Finance systems – SAP, Basware, Concur is an asset
Knowledge of ticketing tool is an asset
