The Western Union Global Product Compliance (GPC) team helps to provide customer centric, compliant products throughout the world for Western Union. GPC team works to inform Western Union Business of risks and controls so that our organization can deliver safe and secure products to customers. We oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideas all the way through product launch. GPC helps drive major strategic priorities for the company and to deliver valuable products to our consumers.

Role Responsibilities:

• Effectively assess Western Union products and services to identify any AML, CFT or Fraud related risks.
• Assist with account-based product launches by ensuring compliance standards and requirements are being met.
• Manage complex product related issues by providing compliance guidance and support on the development of suitable solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional teams including Compliance, Legal, Operations, Engineering, and Business.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in any of the following: working with Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering compliance, general compliance and/or risk-based compliance, yielding a comprehensive understanding of technology and best practices in the compliance field.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in complex consumer financial services/payment services organizations with multiple financial products, or a regulatory agency/law firm involving payment services compliance issues relating to Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, and related laws/regulations.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Proven track record of complex problem solving and decision-making ability.
• Effective communication skills, and an ability to communicate with various stakeholders at different seniority levels.
• Show a willingness to continuously enhance your AML Compliance product knowledge and expand that understanding as needed for the role.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English language (verbally and written) is essential.

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 2833 – 5525 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
