Role:

The role:
This position will strengthen the competence of the team in MS SQL, C# and integration. New team member will guide C#/.NET team to establish new data flow architecture to match growing business needs and develop applications for that.

The team:
You will be the 9th team member of the IT Team. Your new teammates would be: 2 project managers, 1 ERP developer, 1 SAP BI developer, 2 jr. C#/.NET developers, IT support specialist and the CIO.

Upcoming tasks:

Create a new state-of-the-art architecture for data exchange between Stores, HQ and vertical applications
Implementation of a new WMS system (Equinox Vision 7) with integration packages
SAP BI analytics development
Data exchange architecture (MS SQL replication) revision
Development of store management in-house system

ERP migration project

Assist-advise Juniors in more complex programming situations (mentor role)
Keep in touch with IT Project Managers regarding system changes and architecture

Requirements:

Advanced MS SQL Programming skills (query optimization level, triggers, views)
A proven track record in C#/.NET development
Experience with Web Services
Knowledge and experience with integration platforms/tools
Familiarity with both C# web and desktop applications development

Excellent verbal and written communicator, able to convey complex ideas, develop project deliverables and present in a coherent manner
An open-minded team player and a good listener
Recognise the importance of constructive criticism and feedback

Nice to have:

Experience with Big Data
Experience with PL/SQL (Oracle)
At least a basic knowledge of PHP (it’s used for just a few internal applications)
Knowledge of TDD, SOLID, KISS, DRY principles and Agile methodology
Ability to mentor a small team of junior developers (2) to help them improve their technical skills
Experience with at least one FE framework would be beneficial (React.js, Vue.js, Angular)
