Job description

Position Summary:

The Client Support Specialist is a customer facing role of our Payment Operations team. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Support teams to input, analyze, and complete payments requests for our merchants. The Client Support Specialist will also be responsible for collecting information from our payment partners and scheduling payment setups with our clients. In addition they will be supporting Payments Operations with data management and internal ticket management.

This is a temporary position for 3 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to complete 30+/- phone calls a day with customer
  • Ensure customer tickets are resolved and updated in our ticketing system
  • Provide world class customer experience over the phone
  • Reach out to payment partners for missing information
  • Work in conjunction with sales, support and operations to achieve successful and timely onboarding period for our merchants
  • Reach out to customers to ensure timely scheduling of payment setups
  • Update customer statuses in our internal software tools
  • Schedule calls with existing merchants to resolve any open payment inquiries
  • Assist U.S. customers on their payment processing migration process

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong experience with MS Office / Google docs
  • Know how to handle difficult calls and have strong conflict resolutions skills
  • Good organizational skills that will keep spreadsheets up to date with the most accurate information
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) software is a plus
  • Experience with a ticketing system is a plus (ServiceCloud preferred)
