We are now looking for a Graphic Designer to join Metso Content Studio – our in-house team of creative professionals. We play a crucial role in presenting our solutions to our global audiences in the most attractive way and thus also strengthen Metso's brand identity. Our team consists of 14 creative specialists whose skills cover among others copywriting, digital marketing, video production and graphic design.

As a graphic design professional in Content Studio, you will play a key role in conceptualizing and creating visually compelling designs that communicate our messages, contribute to the brand recognition, and resonate with our target audiences. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, interpret stakeholder requirements, and use your artistic skills to produce impactful visuals across various materials including brochures, infographics, presentations, events/booths, videos and more. Areas of responsibility
- Collaborate with Content Studio members and marketeers to develop and execute design concepts for various projects, including but not limited to print advertisements, brochures, flyers, and presentations, web and social media graphics and videos.
- Create compelling graphics, layouts, and illustrations that align with brand guidelines and project briefs.
- Maintain the visual identity of the brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing collateral.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, design tools, and software to continually improve design quality, efficiency, and own knowledge.
- Work closely with our stakeholders to understand their vision and translate it into effective visual solutions.
- Be responsible for the assigned work queue and relevant stakeholder communication.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Be responsible for managing the asset life cycle (end-to-end) according to our process guidelines.
Basic requirements for the position
- 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts or related field is preferred.
- Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work.
- Strong understanding of design principles, layout techniques, typography and color theory.
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and good working knowledge of MS Office Tools (PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with AI technologies in graphic design applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in English with team members and clients. Other languages, such as Finnish, Swedish, Spanish, German, French are an advantage.
