Right now, we are looking for IT Technical Specialist & DevOps Engineer to join our team.

My name is Jūratė Grigoraitė, Head of Common Service Order Management (SOM) IT Production. My team is responsible for development, delivery, maintenance and operations of the Common SOM solutions and applications delivered through in-house and external partners. Our platform and applications orchestrate successful Telia customers’ order fulfillment for entire Telia Group.

Your next opportunity?

You will be part of newly built #DevOps Competence Center here in Vilnius with the purpose to look after target Service order management solution in a common consolidated way. The solution is based on Ericsson order care & Ericsson Catalogue manager products and support order to activation process. It will be rolled out in Norway this summer and later across other countries.

Your main responsibility will be 2nd level incident management and corrective maintenance to secure restoration of a service and error correction of faults of any event which is not part of the standard operation of a service and which causes, or may cause, an interruption to, or a reduction in, the quality of service.

Other responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments
  • Maintenance of the Ericsson Order Care system and interfaces with other systems
  • Application deployments and configuration changes to support new releases
  • Analyze system/processes and initiate necessary improvements and changes
  • Incident & change management, ticket handling
  • On call duty
  • Knowledge base maintenance
  • Automation of tasks
  • Collaborate with other teams and solve complex issues
  • Your daily tools: Ericsson Order Care, SoapUI, REST & SOAP APIs, Postman, Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki), PostgreSQL, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira

Who are you?

Besides technical IT application maintenance and operations skills, key success factor is a curiosity and eagerness to learn new things. I am looking for an ambitious professional who would be a quick learner and willing to take an #Ownership for the service and grow his/her responsibilities across other countries (roadmap for 2021: Mobile services in Lithuania and 5G Finland) and to the 3rd level support and/or development in a future (roadmap for 2022 and beyond).

Your Experience and Personality:

  • Experience supporting and working with high availability systems
  • Familiar with build automation frameworks (CI/CD)
  • Knowledge on SQL databases (including data manipulation via SQL)
  • A degree in IT or related field
  • Good communication skills & collaboration with others
  • Self-organized and structured
  • Adaptive, persistent and willing to take an initiative
  • Fluent English (must)
  • Scripting/programming skills – Java or any other modern language (an advantage)
