Finance System Owner

If you have a good business understanding and a strong IT mindset that can steer the digitalization journey for finance then maybe you are the finance system owner we are looking for to join NKT Lithuania. In this role you will be expected to work both independently and as part of a global team spread out in Europe. Due to the latter some travel might be expected though the position itself is based in Kaunas. Being part of NKT will also open you a world of future career opportunities and learning possibilities.

You will be the key person when it comes to setting business requirements for the further finance process with a focus on the accounts payable processes also coordinating development and driving user adoption as well as guiding super users in Kaunas office and voicing their needs for this digital journey. Also you will be a competent product owner acting as a link between business and IT development team responsible for collaboration with IT while creating governance and escalation setup for the operating model. Your main tasks will include but will not be limited to:

• Steer the overall xSuite program for NKT with a focus on AP processes while supporting xSuite users and being the point of contact for both external xSuite support team and internal users for any related troubles, fixing them whenever possible;
  
• Act as the ambassador for operational finance in Kaunas office and be the first line of defence for the business also drive Group Finance xSuite development;
  
• Run project plans to deliver new solutions and features on schedule by organising the broader team and secure onboarding of new solutions and ongoing feedback;
  
• Secure active participation from the relevant finance teams when running development and testing new digital solutions;
  
• Owning business documentation and driving continuous improvement through reviewing end-user feedback and gathering ideas through interaction with the finance community;
  
• Handle utilization of OCR tool – tune the system, improve templates, etc.
  

You are also expected to be active as “expert user” of our tools to be first line of support for local users while also participate in workshops of global digital solutions acting there as a key subject matter expert. Last, but not the least, the position entails building up super user competences within Kaunas office by conduct of trainings across departments using detailed expertise, including definition of the training scope for a new release of the solution and assistance with the development of training materials.

We expect you to be Product owner with IT flair and eagerness to incorporate digital in daily work. To succeed in this role you will need a keen desire to learn, develop and be continuously challenged as well as ability to prioritize tasks and plan your schedule while operating in a fast-paced environment as part of a global team. Strong business understanding combined with your experience and personal efforts will make a positive and highly valuable difference for Kaunas office providing financial services to Group companies and supporting our internal customers. The candidate should have:

• A Degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline, higher commercial certificate or similar;
  
• 2+ years of experience in a Finance field (Controller, Analyst, Accountant and etc.) preferably in a Global Finance team;
  
• Strong SAP/SAP BW knowledge and advanced level of MS Excel, as well as other MS Office skills;
  
• Strong English language skills, both verbal and written.

Salary range for this position is from 4000 Eur to 4800 Eur brutto, exact salary being subject to the competence and work experience of the candidate.
