Job description

The Role
Home Group is looking for Factory HR Manager for its Lithuanian operations in Klaipeda and Kriukai to contribute as key business partner to factory transformation into a well performing manufacturing organization and enable its sustainable growth. HR Manager will be based at operations in Klaipeda (500+ employees), will lead two Specialists and will report to General Manager of the Klaipeda factory. In this role HR Manager will closely cooperate with matrix HR Team in Eastern Europe and will functionally report to Group HR Director. Acting as a member of the Factory Management Team, HR Manager will drive implementation of HR best practices and realization of people business plan.

Responsibilities
  • Secure Factory Occupational Safety and HR Operations are compliant to country and EU legal requirements and Group policies.
  • Review and improve existing HR document flow (Internal regulations, Employment Contracts, Job Descriptions, Orders, etc.).
  • Represent the factory towards authorities on HR related matters, mandatory reporting.
  • Recruit direct and indirect personnel for the factory, coordinate onboarding programs. Support occasional white-collar recruitments.
  • Optimize factory HR processes based on considerate as-is analysis and planning, eliminate waste and prioritize activities that are value-adding to the business.
  • Systematically introduce integrated Human Resources Management system supported by Group Matrix HR Team on HR expert matters: Recruitment, Training & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Appraisal, Internal Communications.
  • Develop and educate senior leaders on key HR competencies: competence profile defining, interviewing and selection, onboarding and adaptation, performance management, competence development, salary revision, succession planning, etc.
  • Support General Manager in maintaining and developing Occupational Safety Management system.
  • Supervise HR KPIs reporting to Group level, analyze root causes of deviations and mitigate risks.
  • Develop own subordinate, secure short-term substitution and potential long-term succession.

Requirements

Profile
  • Male/female professional with experience in Human Resources function in the similar role preferably in industrial environment, i.e. HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist.
  • Fluency in Lithuanian language, Intermediate English and digital literacy (MS Power Point and Excel is a must).
  • Good knowledge of Lithuanian Employment legislation, proven experience in creating HR documentation and reporting.
  • Business acumen, process optimization skills, ability to balance big picture and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-focus mindset, ability to build relationship, to challenge the authority and argument own position.
  • Learning agility, interest to takeover new developing tasks/projects.
  • Professional experience in Occupational Safety Management is highly preferable but is not the requirement.
