We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst / Consultant to join and lead Business System Analysts team within Analytics group in LG Digital, our IT centre. The Analytics group is at the core of JSC „Lithuanian Railways“ digital transformation journey. You’ll be given an early responsibility to shape and drive the design and development of the new information systems and analytics tools. You’ll be at the forefront of truly complex projects, which will impact and add value to multiple parts of our business.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Ensuring the design, delivery and performance of information systems and analytics tools, which support the business needs and delivers the desired outcomes
  • Managing team’s workload and priorities; developing, leading and guiding team members; ensuring high team spirit and motivation
  • Sharing knowledge and expertise in Business System Analysis and change management
  • Advising colleagues on system implementation best practices, writing and updating the technical documentation, running user facilitation and training sessions
  • Participating in and contributing to project planning, system design and system development phases
  • Ensuring that outcomes and benefits are realised by constantly re-assessing the business stakeholder needs, managing risks and quality standards and supporting on-going system performance


  • 4 years of Business Analysis experience or two years of Consulting experience in a complex, cross-functional environment, preferably in IT change or Business Intelligence
  • At least one-year experience in leading and managing a team of more than three people
  • Solid experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, both functional and non-functional ones. A big plus, if this was gained on software development or business intelligence projects
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard Business Analysis methods and tools (you should know what to use, when and why)
  • Familiarity with SDLC or DSDM principles (a big plus, if you have hands-on experience)
  • Experience in working on different project stages, such as business case proposal, feasibility study, project planning, delivery, testing, benefits realisation. Experience of either Waterfall or Agile methodologies are equally desirable
  • Ability to assess and manage deliverable timeliness and delegate work effectively; contribute to project planning tasks
  • Ability to converse and influence a variety of stakeholders - from technologists to senior business leaders
