Job description
We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent people skills, who will be comfortable developing a team of IT Support Engineers using a range of coaching and/or mentoring techniques.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of IT Support Engineers team by managing and scheduling resources, and providing training and mentoring to the team
- Train, coach and mentor the IT Support Engineers to provide outstanding customer service
- Ensure technical skills are sufficient to support constantly evolving technology and systems
- Develop a strong service management culture within the team supported by clear metrics
- Ensure that all requests and inquiries are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved
Requirements
- Previous experience of leading or managing a team within support environment
- A proven track record of working within an IT support field
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication and problem resolution ability
- Education within IT area
- English skills
A bonus for
- Experience within IT area (systems testing, support, etc. is a big plus)
- Knowledge in MySQL, server monitoring, Jira
