Job description

Lending Expert ensures customer needs, business targets and risk appetite-oriented approach, makes decisions for unsecured and long- term loans. Follows Luminor’s values – collaboration, focus and curiosity in daily work life with colleagues and customers.

Lending Competence Center Unit handle credit applications in a timely and professional manner and bring credit matters and customer experience to the next level.

Key responsibilities:

Provide professional analysis of loan and limit applications (including customer risk assessment);
Defend applications at decision-making authority.
Ensure proper preparation of loan documents and submission of all documents required for monitoring the credit quality. To be performed based on the credit policy.
Support and provide solutions for sales units in complicated credit cases.
Ensure excellent customer service and achievement of individual and team targets, KPI regarding lending.
Proactive planning and execution of tasks in accordance with current requirements, budget and Luminor values.
Ensure data quality and provide input of different data’s in bank systems and programs in accordance with existing quality standards and procedures.
Strictly follow existing procedures, instructions, ethic code and other related legal requirements.
Ensure high quality in the preparation of loan projects.
Taking responsibility for professional self-development and improving team performance by providing feedback and recommendations.
Informs about suspicious and unusual deals or transactions of customers.
Inform direct manager or department manager and operational risk management about operational risk incidents, frauds, mistakes, and cases that can cause Bank financial or reputation risks or can lead to loses within action or inaction of employees.


Knowledge of banking services, products, systems.
Knowledge of credit processes and credit strategy.
Entrepreneurial mindset and analytical skills (customer financial and operational analysis);
Customer service skills.
Problem solving ability.
Result oriented and solution focused.
Proactivity and willingness to take ownership.
Time management skills and ability to use resources efficiently.
Excellent communication, fluency in native language, English and Russian (both oral and written).
