Job description

  • Oversee the smooth, efficient day-by-day running of tours
  • Represent the company at international tourism fairs
  • Handle bookings, invoicing and issuing of tickets/vouchers
  • Agree on service levels, contracts and costs
  • Be the first point of contact for all suppliers with regards to tour-based inventory, financial reconciliation and operational concerns
  • Carry out site inspections of hotels, restaurants and other service providers
  • Take part in familiarisation visits
  • Provide information and give instructions to suppliers (hotels, guides, museums, restaurants, transportation companies) concerning group programs, group composition, etc.
  • Provide firsthand insights into product costs (hotels, museums, restaurants, transportation, guides, etc.)
  • Use data and analytical tools to make recommendations to optimise revenue & margin
  • Collect, evaluate and respond (as appropriate) to customer feedback
  • Use market research information to guide decisions
  • Maintain close communication with the relevant suppliers at all times on the progress of the bookings

  • Offer the clients as many additional services as possible in order to increase the income per group
  • Respond to complaints within 2 working days and ensure it is fully resolved within 1 week
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational and service methods / procedures


  • Fluency in spoken and written English, Russian, Lithuanian and one of the following languages: Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese
  • Minimum 2-year experience working in an incoming tour operator/DMC
  • Competent computer user, strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and video conferencing
  • Strong organisational & planning skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds & levels
  • A positive and competitive attitude with the drive to succeed and work ethic
  • Sensitivity to customers' needs and requirements
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities
  • Good self-motivation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent time-management
  • Resilience to cope with long hours and pressure at peak times
  • Genuine interest in travel
