Sales Area Manager (Tableau partner)

Job description

Represent Tableau and its product suite in new customer accounts of all sizes and industries
Educate prospects that have very little prior knowledge about the technology or the Business Intelligence market
Meet and exceed direct sales goals within assi gned geographic territory
Manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation via cold calling, occasional inbound leads from marketing, qualification, evaluation, and closing
Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales potential with the ability to move a large number of transaction simultaneously through the sales pipeline
Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast
Manage and track customer and transactional information in a CRM system; logging all sales activity within the established processes; keeping customer account current and accurate; generate incoming lead flow through targeted mass emails (some will be templates while others you create yourself)
Educating yourself on Tableau's competition
Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering
Provide product demonstration to prospects online and in direct meetings
Practice effective, excellent communication with management, legal, and support staff
Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success
Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience. You have at least 2 years of direct sales experience with an assigned quota. You have business acumen.
Style. You are a creative problem-solver, entrepreneur at heart, an exceptional listener, and a great communicator. You seek out challenges and love to get creative to solve them. You are a competitor and enjoy being in a friendly competitive environment
Amazing Salesperson. You have a desire, even an obsession, to bring / expand customers into the Tableau software usage and make their life easier. You have the ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline with a proven track record of handling and closing a large number of transactions simultaneously
Go-Getter. You're proactively able to identify and generate leads and opportunities without dependence on inbound leads. You're willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic and no fear of creating conversations from scratch
Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it. Fluency in English and Lithunian required
Domain. Experience in a technical sales role (product support or training) is a plus. Bachelor's Degree with a communications, technical or business focus preferred
Missionary. You "get it" and understand Tableau's mission. You believe Tableau will become one of the most important technology in Business Inteligence market, you want to be a contributing member of a winning sales team, and you want to have fun all the way

It is full-cycle inside sales role, pursuing new Tableau Software customers in Lithuania (in future possibility to expand to Latvia). This role provides excellent career growth potential and the ability to sell a product customers love at a professional and exciting company. Working in this position you get to work in a specified territory with revenue and transaction quota responsibility, working in Baltimax Vilnius office. You will manage the sales process for new prospective customers throughout the sales cycle
for both warm and cold leads. Typical activities which result in success include following up with marketing-generated leads, independently generating leads, demonstrating Tableau over the web and direct meetings, writing proposals, negotiating,
and closing business. This is a high impact carrying position.
