Job description
- Tax calculation, declaration and reporting to the required authorities
- Perform day-to-day general accounting operations, review and control related primary documents
- Ownership of month-end and year-end closing process, provide support in auditing process
- Ensure that all assigned job tasks are done efficiently and with high quality
- Prepare reports and financial statements, provide accurate and timely information to senior management and stakeholders
- Communicate regularly with the advisory authorities and international colleagues in English and Lithuanian
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits and tax filings
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, accounting pronouncements, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance financial performance
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in senior accounting position, finance or related field
- Solid knowledge of the accounting principles and experience with the full-cycle of the company’s - accounting period and closing
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and other relevant taxes, and their implications on financial reporting and compliance
- Attention to detail, effective time management, ability to prioritize tasks
- Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing - mandatory)
- Proficiency in analytical and finance tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and plan daily tasks
- Analytical skills and attention to details

Hotelston aims to provide the best price and after-sale support for travel business professionals as well as end-customers.
