About the role:
We are seeking an Accountant for our Countries accounting II Unit. Our unit is responsible for several branches of the bank and different subsidiaries. You will play a key role for SEB AB Luxembourg branch accounting. You will work closely with multiple levels within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of a finance department in a rapidly growing digital organisation.

About the role:
We are seeking an Accountant for our Countries accounting II Unit. Our unit is responsible for several branches of the bank and different subsidiaries. You will play a key role for SEB AB Luxembourg branch accounting. You will work closely with multiple levels within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of a finance department in a rapidly growing digital organisation.
As an Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Flawless execution of Records-to-Report transactional activities
- Month-end closing procedures and bookkeeping tasks
- Follow processing and reporting deadlines
- G/L accounts reconciliation
- Communication with other SEB group units and stakeholders
- Work together with the team on continuous process improvements
- Follow Internal Controls of Financial and Reporting framework
Who we are looking for:
- Plus 1 year of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work in team and independently
- English language knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
- Degree in Finance area is a plus
- Experience in working with IFRS and local standards is a plus
- Proactive and “can do” mindset

Monthly salary range for this position: 2000 – 3000 EUR (before tax deduction). The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
