Embark on a rewarding journey with MB "Talentų Sprendimai" as we are seeking an Accounting Specialist who combines solid accounting skills with a creative approach to problem-solving and efficiency.
Role Overview:
This role involves handling traditional accounting responsibilities while also exploring innovative ways to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, an eye for detail, and the ability to understand the broader financial context of the business. You will be working with 3 different projects, such as Shipzee, AEC Parcel Service and Happy Parcel.
Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices, recording payments, archiving documents, reconciliation of balance sheet - accounts;
- Handling external and internal communication;
- To ensure timely month end close duties in line with the company’s policies;
- Maintenance of intercompany transactions and development of process implementation;
- To assist the implementation of initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the Accounts Payable transaction processing.
Expectations:
- Have a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar;
- Have 1-2 years of working experience in accounting;
- Have at least basic knowledge of finance and accounting cycle end to end processes;
- Various accounting experience (AP, AR, payroll) is preferred;
- Attention to details, diligence and creativity for various solutions;
- Proficient at Microsoft Excel, adept at understanding programs (accounting) or different tools;
- Are proficient in English (both written and spoken).
