About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Lead with big-picture thinking. You are coming here to build strong processes that scale with our growing business while ensuring accurate, timely and efficient accounting operations. The Accounting Lead role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, gets the best out of the team, and is motivated to contribute to the success of our dynamic marketplace.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Lead and oversee daily accounting operations (including AP, AR, payroll and reconciliations).
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Create and implement scalable accounting procedures and processes.
- Coach, develop and guide accountants and specialists.
- Support leadership and partner with Finance & Operations to align accounting treatments.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive work experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Good understanding of international accounting standards and marketplace experience is a plus.
- Confidence in process design and implementation.
- Comfortable operating in a fast changing environment.
- Fluency in English both verbally and in writing.
