The Western Union Global Product Compliance (GPC) team helps to provide customer centric, compliant products throughout the world for Western Union. GPC team works to inform Western Union Business of risks and controls so that our organization can deliver safe and secure products to customers. We oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideas all the way through product launch. GPC helps drive major strategic priorities for the company and to deliver valuable products to our consumers.

Role Responsibilities
  • You will be explaining complex things in a simple manner.
  • You will use complex systems to pull, test, and analyze data to produce reports and reviews of Western Union products.
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the compliance product lifecycle from idea to design to market launch.
  • You will collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, Business and IT teams to deliver high value, customer centric products.
  • Provide detailed requirements to Business and Product teams to support them in delivering compliant products to the market.


Role Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in any of the following: working with Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering compliance, general compliance and/or risk-based compliance, yielding a comprehensive understanding of technology and best practices in the compliance field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in complex retail/consumer financial services/payment services organizations with multiple financial products, or a regulatory agency/ law firm involving payment services compliance issues relating to Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, and related laws/regulations.
  • Experience Working with WU.com product will be considered as a great advantage.
  • You will be able to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • You have strong communication skills and you are able to communicate with various stakeholders at different seniority levels.
  • Proven track record of complex problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • You have great multitasking skills and able to prioritize work tasks effectively.
  • You have flexibility and ability to adapt to new situations and new assignments with an ease.
  • Fluency in English language (verbally and written) is essential.

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 3250 – 6216 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
