Join our Global Finance Services Department in Vilnius

In Global Finance Services (GFS), you will become part of COWI's Business Support. GFS is constantly looking for new ways to improve the efficiency of the company's financial processes and add value to the business operations by providing relevant financial insights and building sustainable relationships with its key stakeholders.

You will join our global team of experts and in this role, you will act as a business partner, providing expert advice and guidance to project controllers and managers on topics related to incoming monetary funds. Your primary task will be the analysis of Accounts Receivable status.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving and processing customer payments. Posting payments by reconciling bank statements and investigating accounts discrepancies by contacting business stakeholders (debt collection process is not in scope).
  
• Conducting customer's credit checks and maintaining customer master data.
  
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as project controllers and finance teams to resolve issues, streamline processes, and achieve departmental goals.
  
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, COWI policies, and relevant regulations.
  
• Identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation within the AR function. •Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and improve efficiency.

On top of that, you have:

• 2 or more years of working experience in Accounting
  
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Administration, or a related area
  
• Excellent written and spoken English
  
• Basic knowledge of Accounting and Finance
  
• Confident with the primary Excel knowledge
  
• Attentiveness to details and appetite for a variety of tasks
  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of the team

The salary for this position ranges from 1700 to 2200 EUR before taxes. We believe in your professional capability therefore the final offer will be based on your competencies and experience.
