Job description:

We're looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to accelerate DS1's expansion across European energy infrastructure markets. This role requires not only commercial acumen and a hunter's mindset, but also strong relationship-building skills to engage with key stakeholders, identify new project opportunities, and position DS1 as a trusted partner in pipelines, renewables, and energy storage across the continent.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Baltic and German markets, using project databases and industry networks;
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients — initiate meetings, understand client needs;
  • Research and map key decision-makers within target client organisations (SPVs, energy developers, infrastructure funds);
  • Coordinate participation in industry events, exhibitions, and tender processes across target markets;
  • Represent the company at meetings, site visits, and negotiations alongside senior management;
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement AI-based tools to increase efficiency in day-to-day commercial operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in a B2B environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a client pipeline independently — from lead identification to meeting execution;
  • Experience working with or across international markets; exposure to the energy, construction, or infrastructure sector is an advantage;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging with senior-level contacts;
  • Structured and self-driven work style — able to prioritise, follow through, and report progress without close supervision;
  • Willingness to travel regularly (Baltics, Germany, industry events);
  • Fluent English; German is a strong advantage.
