At Swisslog, we're transforming logistics through intelligent automation and robotics. As part of our Modernization Services team, you'll help customers across EMEA improve, upgrade, and future-proof their automated warehouse systems.
In this role, you'll combine your controls engineering expertise with customer consulting skills to develop modernization strategies that increase system performance, reliability, and long-term value. You'll work closely with customers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and guide technology investment decisions.

Make an impact
- Assess existing automation and control systems at customer sites
- Identify technical risks, improvement opportunities, and modernization needs
- Develop lifecycle and modernization roadmaps for customers across EMEA
- Translate technical findings into clear business recommendations
- Present solutions and modernization plans to technical and leadership teams
- Act as a trusted advisor on automation technology, lifecycle planning, and future investments
- Support site assessments and modernization projects across the region
- Collaborate with Swisslog and KUKA colleagues to develop innovative modernization solutions
What you need to succeed
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, and lifecycle management within automated material handling, intralogistics, or similar industries.
- Understanding of PLC-based control systems, automation architectures, software platforms, and modernization approaches
- Background in technical consulting, customer-facing engineering, or solution development.
- Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
- Professional English skills and willingness to travel across EMEA.
