Currently we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Digital Innovation team. You will have the opportunity to support the way we handle data by maintaining ETL processes, collaborating across teams to enhance data analysis, and introducing innovative solutions. This role is suited for those passionate about data, eager to learn, and ready to make an impact within a supportive, global team environment.
ABOUT THE JOB:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes to extract data from various source systems
- Optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decisions
- Collaborate with other teams and functions to implement end-to-end ETL processes, get data ready for analysis and decision making
- Suggest and implement process improvement and new solutions
- Write technical documentation and use Git versioning system
- Keep up with the latest in data engineering, exploring, and adopting new technologies and tools to enhance the data pipeline
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, applied mathematics, IT or related fields
- Up to 2 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar field
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience with ETL tools and techniques (Azure Data Factory, or others)
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools and techniques (Power BI, or others)
- Great communicator in English (verbal and written)
- Customer-focused and data-oriented person with strong learning capabilities
- Self-motivated team player with ability to work independently in a global environment
ADVANTAGEOUS ABILITIES:
- Knowledge with Python/R or other languages
- Working experience with cloud-based solutions
- Ability to write technical documentation, work with CI/CD and Git versioning platforms
