DevOps Engineer (Mid/Senior)

At Qdev Technologies, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a project in the medical device domain. You will support the development and release of firmware for a Secure Connectivity Board (SCB), working closely with engineering teams to ensure efficient development workflows and reliable software delivery.

Your tasks include supporting firmware development and release for a Secure Connectivity Board (SCB), while collaborating with engineering teams to maintain efficient development processes and reliable software delivery.

Other tasks may include:

• Maintain and release SCB firmware
  
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  
• Ensure reliable build and release processes for C++ applications
  
• Support developers with build environments, dependencies, and tooling
  
• Optimize build systems (e.g., CMake, Make) for performance and scalability
  
• Integrate Linux-based libraries and third-party components
  
• Automate build, testing, and deployment workflows
  
• Monitor CI/CD pipelines and resolve issues proactively
  
• Maintain versioning, branching strategies, and release documentation

‍We are looking for a person with the following experience:

• Solid experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, or Software Engineering
  
• Strong experience with C++ development environments
  
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, releases)
  
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and software delivery processes
  
• Experience working in Linux environments
  
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required

Technologies used in the project:

• Build tools: CMake, Make, Ninja, or Bazel
  
• CI/CD: Azure Pipelines (experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD is a plus)
  
• Scripting: Bash, Python
  
• Artifact repositories: Artifactory or Nexus
  
• YAML-based pipeline configuration
  
• Unit and integration testing
