Brolis Semiconductors is a high-tech company within Brolis Defence Group, engaged in developing and manufacturing of new generation semiconductor optoelectronic devices and electro-optical systems. As Embedded Software Engineer You will
- Work with state-of-the-art military electro-optical devices like thermal, night vision systems also used in Ukraine,
- Develop firmware and software for new products and maintenance of existing ones,
- PC-side tools development,
- Prepare technical documentation,
- Develop manufacturing/testing tools.
What we expect
- 2+ years of experience in embedded C/C++ development.
- Knowledge of embedded Linux development environment.
- Experience in containerized development environment.
- Knowledge in one of high-level programming languages like Python, C#, Java, JS, etc.
- Experience of software version control system (Git).
- Ability to read schematics. Understanding basic electronics components/blocks.
- English language (spoken and written).
- Critical thinking, ability to solve problems, good self-management skills – working with minimal supervision.
- Bonus: FPGA and VHDL knowledge.
- Bonus: understanding LWIR cameras systems
- Clean records. The selected candidate will have to obtain permission to work with classified information and will be required to submit a medical certificate form 049a (a medical examination certificate same as the one necessary for a permit to acquire a weapon).
