Job description

The role of the Financial Controller will involve overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic guidance. The key responsibilities include supervising reports, budgeting, data analysis on financial trends.
The position is located in Vilnius / Lithuania and reports to Company Manager.

  • Create and manage reconciliation processes for client funds, e-money, and later card transactions.
  • Ensure capital requirements are satisfied and control the minimum level of it.
  • Ensure timely reporting to the Bank of Lithuania, Statistical department, State Tax authority, and other authorities.
  • Monitor and control the billing team, payments to clients, cash flow, and liquidity.
  • Analyze client data and create data visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, monitor billing, client payments, and overall cash flow.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and market developments.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulators for enhanced data analysis.
  • Preparation and supervision of investment and customer protection policies.
  • Oversee the reporting process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare quarterly/ annual reports for financial institutions and monitor KPIs.
  • Own the preparation of IFRS financial statements.
  • Organizing, managing, and coordinating the budgeting process.
  • Performance of ad-hoc financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Cash flows between branches forecast and control.
  • Manage consolidations of financial data from company branches.
  • Financial risk management in assigned areas.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure that audits are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Involvement in the implementation of information systems and participation in other work groups.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to support our overall financial strategy.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Company Manager.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics,
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, investment banking or related fields,
  • Knowledge of the principles of financial and management reporting,
  • Strong communication and analytical skills,
  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English,
  • Computer literate, with excellent Excel skills,
  • Excellent analytical thinking skills, ability to systematize and summarize information,
  • Proactive, accurate and diligent, scrupulous.
