Core Responsibilities:
THE ACCOUNTANT ensures timely, accurate and compliant service delivery for all three functions AP, AR and GL transactions in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Month End Close procedures including calculation and posting journal entries (accruals, prepaid expenses, payroll, bank journals etc.)
- Supports the day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations: invoice issuing, payment application, bad debts
- Support the day-to-day Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursements operations for the following process areas: review/process incoming AP invoices and perform GL Coding; coordinate approvals until the release of payment, perform other AP closing activities, obtain payment approvals
- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations as assigned, analyze and work on minimize open items
- Deliver service according to DANA corporate policies and procedures as well as SOX requirements
- Assist with annual audit process
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of practical business experience in accounting operations (Service Center
- Demonstrated knowledge of main accounting principals
- Business proficient English both written and spoken
- Strong analytical skills
- Very good communication skills and positive attitude
- Self-disciplined with ability to work with deadlines and accuracy
- Results oriented and customer focus
