We are currently looking for a: Head of Data Governance and Methodology

Main job tasks and responsibilities:

• Data governance: Design and maintain scalable and robust data warehouse and data measurements to support the company's logistical operations, ensuring data integrity and reliability. Establish data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the quality, consistency, and compliance of data across all systems and processes.
• Strategic ERP system implementation and business data streams consolidation
• Reporting methodology standardsdevelopment applying strong knowledge of management reporting and financial reporting best practices. Develop methodologies for reporting and analyzing logistical data, including key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and dashboards, to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
• Data Integration ownership ensuring integrations of disparate data sources and systems to create a unified data environment, facilitating seamless data flow and accessibility across the organization.
• Data Modeling ownershipdesigning and implementing data models, schemas, and structures to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis, utilizing best practices and industry standards.
• Business Intelligence agenda leadership empowering efficient collaboration between business analytics and data engineering teams. Support evaluation and implementation of business intelligence (BI) tools and technologies to enhance data visualization, reporting machine learning capabilities, and user experience.
• Collaboration facilitator across business, IT, operations, finance, and logistics departments fostering efficient business requirements discovery, user feedback gathering, and prioritization of system enhancements.

Requirements:

• Substantial experience of reporting and data warehousing in large companies.
• Organizing and supporting reporting process. Good understanding and knowledge of full reporting life cycle: starting from requirements gathering, ETL procedures, semantic layer development, reports creation and users consultations.
• Experience in ERP implementation and project management of transition to a new platform.
• SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 or other ERP implementation/transition experience.
• Experience in data governance, machine learning, and reporting methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements, design data-driven insights, and drive informed decision-making.
• Experience with BI tools.
• Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in information systems architecture and data analytics.

Monthly salary ranges from 4460 EUR to 5580 EUR gross (the specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed, and suitability to the requirements of the position.).
