Job description:
The Head of IT Infrastructure is a crucial role within our dynamic organization, tasked with overseeing the strategic deployment, management, and operation of our technology infrastructures. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of technology and business, focusing on supplier and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management, cloud and network services, service monitoring, user support/help desk, workstation management, servers, storage, and the meticulous management of policies and procedures. The aim is to ensure the continuous availability, integrity, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure, leveraging the latest in cloud technology.
Working in close collaboration with the CTO, this individual leads the Infrastructure Operations and is charged with the strategic planning and execution of technology infrastructure projects, emphasizing a cloud-first approach.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology infrastructure strategy in partnership with the CTO, aligning with the company's vision and leveraging cloud infrastructure to its full potential.
- Drive innovation, automation, and efficiency in service delivery, while focusing on cost reduction and enhancing service quality.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, utilizing current IT trends to create business value and propel the company forward.
- Establish and maintain enterprise standards for technology architecture, with a particular focus on optimizing cloud infrastructure and ensuring robust data security and compliance protocols.
- Lead in the selection and management of technology vendors and partners, ensuring best-in-class technologies are adopted. This includes negotiating and managing SLAs and maintaining strategic vendor relationships for mutual value.
- Oversee the development and regular updating of IT policies, procedures, and governance processes to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Direct complex infrastructure projects from concept to implementation, offering hands-on technical expertise and leadership in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Architect and manage a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plan, focusing on high availability and resilience, especially within cloud environments.
- Guarantee the delivery of 24/7 service operations, adhering to stringent KPIs and ensuring a seamless user experience across all IT services.
- Third party compliance. Manages service agreements to ensure that the expectations and performance metrics are met.
- Security. Oversees the implementation of security measures to protect data and network integrity.
- Ensures monitoring and analysis of IT systems to ensure the perform adequately and meet demands.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of exprience in IT leadership roles managing high-availability, 24/7 enterprise environments, specifically within cloud systems.
- Proven capability in leading IT infrastructure within complex organizations, including extensive experience with cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), network configurations for regulatory compliance, and data protection management.
- Expert knowledge of change management, regulatory compliance, IT security best practices, and the design of disaster recovery strategies in cloud environments.
- Strong background in developing, deploying, and managing IT policies and procedures, with an emphasis on cloud security, data protection, and vendor management.
