We are currently looking for: Head of the Customs Brokers Department

Responsibilities:

• Manage both customs and trade compliance across the company, ensuring that all global regulations are understood.
• Determine customs classifications and regulatory requirements (licenses, certificates, etc.)
• Ensure the highest compliance levels for all customs and government agency requirements across all staff and teams.
• Oversee entry auditing and reporting results and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure that company’s controls, policies, procedures, processes and applications are all understood by the team and implemented accordingly.
• Ensure the smooth work of the representative department of the customs broker.
• Develop employee competencies, ensure goal achievement, motivation, employee Involvement.
• Develop and improve the operation of the department, generate ideas and contribute to the growth of the company and the implementation of goals.
• Compile and manage the budget of the department.

• Advise and represent clients in state institutions on customs procedures and other issues;
• Assess the market, the capacity of existing and potential carriers, seasonality, analyze the competitive environment and respond to market changes.

If you want to succeed in this role:

• Higher university education or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of management experience for a large or medium team.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Russian & English.
• Time management, initiative and orientation to the result.

We offer:

The monthly salary ranges for this position: from 3,636€ to 4,794€ gross (depending on the competencies and relevant experience) + bonuses.
