Job description
Sargent Logistics is American transportation company with a head office based in Chicago, IL. Our company provides transportation services throughout the US, with target markets in Washington, Oregon, California, the Midwest, and East Coast.
Due to company growth we are seeking an experienced HR specialist to manage the recruitment process and full employee lifecycle. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of HR practices and regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Full recruitment process management (starting with job posting up to a job offer).
2. Employee lifecycle management (onboarding, one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, off boarding, etc.).
3. Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee records (personnel files, HRIS data, etc).
4. Assistance with employee relations matters partnering with managers to resolve conflicts and address employee concerns.
5. Office management (e.g. ordering supplies, services).
Qualifications:
— at least 2 years of experience at relevant position;.
— knowledge of labor law and HR best practices;
— fluency in English and Lithuanian languages;
— excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality;
— ability to multitask and set priorities;
— professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) would be a plus;
— previous experience at a transportation company will be an advantage.
