We’re excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join ORCA Crew as an HR Manager in Klaipėda! If you’re passionate about HR and eager to make an impact in the Offshore Energy and maritime sector, this could be your next great move.

Our mission is simple: to provide high-standard international personnel services tailored to our clients’ needs. You’ll be joining a dynamic team that’s committed to excellence and innovation.
As the HR Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our international HR operations. You’ll lead and support the entire HR cycle, managing recruitment for shore-based and office-based staff across all ORCA Group companies. Your responsibilities will cover sourcing office staff candidates, screening, interviewing, and reference checks, ensuring full compliance with MLC 2006, CBAs, and local regulations.
You’ll play a pivotal role in contract management, helping to execute, renew, and terminate employment contracts according to legal requirements. Supporting vacation schedule management, remote work implementation, duty time reporting, OHS regulations, and wellbeing programs for office-based staff will also be key parts of your role. We encourage you to advise on training and development opportunities that will enhance staff performance.
Your expertise in HR will help us implement client employment conditions accurately in seafarer contracts and update contract templates as regulations evolve. You’ll manage payroll rules procedures, maintain precise employee records, and conduct regular performance meetings, providing HR support to placed crew throughout their contracts.
Monitoring recruitment metrics and preparing reports for management will be integral, along with staying up-to-date on maritime industry trends, labor market shifts, wage benchmarks, and regulatory changes.
We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Psychology, Labor Law, or related fields (Master’s or maritime HR certification is and advantage). You should have at least 5 years of HR management experience for a specialist role .
Knowledge of maritime regulations, a strong affinity for legal matters, and excellent English skills are essential . You’ll need to be organized, detail-oriented, and a true team player with a service mindset.
