About the job

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to join our team and contribute to Staticus. In this role, you will support the Finance team in ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations across Lithuania and other markets where Staticus operates. You will work closely with colleagues across departments and external partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes.

Your future role

  • Processing and verifying invoices received from suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and tax regulations of different countries
  • Communicating effectively with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues related to invoicing and timely payments
  • Reviewing submitted expense reports to ensure they comply with company policies and guidelines
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure proper authorization and needed documentation
  • Preparing and issuing sales invoices to inside and outside clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required information
  • Perform other monthly accounting tasks

What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge in accounts payable (AP)
  • Familiarity with VAT requirements
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Positive, proactive, and open-minded attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills in Lithuanian and good English, both written and spoken
