Job description
We are looking for Lead Service Technician in Kelme service point. You will work together as part of the Service Operations Team, reporting to Local Operations Manager, the Service lead technician is responsible for leading local service technicians onsite, troubleshooting and maintenance of turbine with a high safety standards. You would work closely with the operational and backoffice team to ensure a high level of availability in the wind farms which will enable high service standard for our customers and promote future company growth.
· Ensure compliance with safety related processes required to perform work in a safe
way
· Lead the technical team onsite
· Be the point of contact to customers regarding communication on daily activities, and
provide them with monthly reporting
· Responsible for maintenance, repair, and operation of wind turbines.
· Troubleshoot and repairs systems and equipment of the turbine; completes
preventive maintenance and diagnoses malfunctions.
· Perform preventive maintenance according to maintenance planning schedule
· Ensure high quality reporting of daily activities, snags and maintenance tasks in
accordance with internal requirements including booking of materials
· Maintain a high standard of the Service point, tools, service vans and manage the
local stock
· Participate in Field training and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues within the
team

Requirements
Experience in the wind industry
Strong leadership and communication skills
High skill level in planning and organizing resources
Ability to work at heights and in remote locations is a must
Physically capable to fulfill the role
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Extensive IT competency combined with high experience level in wind turbine IT tools
Extensive knowledge of wind turbine component troubleshooting
Extensive knowledge in turbine subcomponents and system diagnostics
Education and Qualifications:
Vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic fields
Experience of Electrical or Mechanical systems
Knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams
Basic HSE knowledge, and the ability to develop further in this area
Computer literate, able to use MS Office, SAP and in house database and workload management systems
Experienced in using technical data for fault finding and problem analysis
Experienced to use data processing adequately
Good English language skills (read, write and speak fluently)
Strong leadership and communication skills
High skill level in planning and organizing resources
