We seek an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to join the company as part of Lithuania's Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs). The MLRO will oversee and manage the company's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) compliance program.
The part-time remote position could be extended to a full-time position with a suitable candidate, and salary adjustments may be considered for the right candidate.

Perfect Candidate:
- Must be a Lithuanian resident who speaks Lithuanian and English
- You will be registered as MLRO in the Lithuanian system
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Law, Business Administration).
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Extensive experience in AML/CTF compliance within the financial services or VASPs sector.
- Strong knowledge of Lithuanian and international AML/CTF laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Compliance and Financial Crime policies, procedures, risk assessments, and registers tailored to VASP operations.
- Act as the registered MLRO and ensure that all AML/CTF policies and procedures meet the specific requirements of virtual asset services.
- Provide comprehensive training and guidance to employees on AML and CTF risks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments of company operations and ensure compliance with AML/CTF laws and regulations.
- Oversee the company's AML/CTF compliance program, including monitoring and investigating suspicious transactions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory and law enforcement inquiries related to money laundering activities.
- Collaborate with internal and Group stakeholders to ensure effective AML/CTF compliance and communication.
- Stay abreast of changes in AML/CTF laws and regulations, providing expert advice to senior management on compliance implications.
- Manage external audits and regulatory inspections related to AML/CTF activities.
