Ensure reliable network services across global operations
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing NKT's network infrastructure, ensuring stable and high-quality operations without unplanned business interruptions. You will work with network technologies including WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VLANs, routing protocols, cloud networking, firewalls, switches and routers. The role combines operational support, issue resolution and infrastructure improvements, helping employees across the organization access reliable network services.

- Maintain and continuously improve network infrastructure and suggest network design enhancements.
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and related network components.
- Monitor network performance and take preventive measures to maintain service delivery.
- Identify and resolve network hardware and software issues.
- Support employees with network-related incidents and operational needs.

You are structured in your approach, able to manage priorities effectively and motivated by delivering reliable services. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience with network configuration, maintenance and resolving network issues.
- Experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls and network software.
- Good understanding of WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VLANs, subnetting and routing protocols.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
