JOB DESCRIPTION
As the NIS2 Security & Compliance Lead (Europe), you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring NIS2 compliance across our European operations. Your focus will be on information security governance, risk management, compliance, and audit readiness. This is not a hands-on technical security role, but a central coordination and oversight function across Europe.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and ensure NIS2 compliance across European entities.
- Translate regulatory requirements into internal policies, procedures, and security controls.
- Maintain the NIS2 compliance framework and monitor implementation progress.
- Coordinate security risk assessments and follow up remediation actions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for internal and external audits.
- Act as the main point of contact for auditors and regulatory authorities regarding NIS2 compliance.
- Ensure that incident management and crisis management processes comply with regulatory requirements.
- Support vendor and supply chain security requirements.
- Prepare regular compliance and risk reports for management.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in information security, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Compliance or a related field.
- 2- 3 years of experience in information security, cyber security, risk management or compliance.
- Experience with NIS2, ISO 27001, or similar information security frameworks.
- Good understanding of IT environments, including infrastructure, cloud services (e.g. Azure), SAP, and security governance principles.
- Strong documentation, audit, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and across international teams.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
