Key Responsibilities
- Creating, issuing, and managing purchase orders in accordance with demand requirements and procurement policies;
- Monitoring order confirmations, delivery dates, pricing accuracy, and contractual compliance;
- Posting invoices and order information on ERP system;
- Maintaining accurate purchasing data (lead times, price updates, order status, supplier information) in the ERP system;
- Ensuring compliance with approved vendor lists, contracts, and procurement guidelines;
- Tracking supplier performance, escalating risks or deviations as needed, and managing complaints;
- Supporting the development of local suppliers;
- Maintaining optimal inventory levels by balancing demand variability, lead times, and safety-stock targets for raw parts;
- Monitoring material availability and proactively identifying shortages, risks, and constraints;
- Creating purchase return orders for credit notes;
- Supporting the data delivery for Intrastat.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the interaction of technical requirements and commercial tools;
- Experience working with ERP systems as well as Microsoft 365 tools (knowledge of Business Central would be considered a plus);
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both Lithuanian and English;
- Good negotiation & communication skills;
- Relevant experience in commercial processes in manufacturing companies is desirable.
