PARTS ENGINEER (Metal parts for transport)

An international company of Belgian capital, producing parts for Volvo, Komatsu, Scania, CAT customers, is developing in Klaipeda and is looking for a new team member - Parts Engineer, who will be responsible for:

Process Samples:

• check if all drawings are present
  
• check if 2D and 3D drawings are matching
  
• check if all standards mentioned on drawings are clear
  
• create instructions for production if needed
  
• prepare drawings to be sent to suppliers for purchase and sales department.
  
• information exchange with customer (technical questions)
  

Process QA

• follow up the remarks issued by production
  
• take necessary actions within due time
  

Process Customer Complaints

• support customer representative for root cause analysis
  
• support customer representative to implement needed actions within the due date
  

Manage Customer Requirements

• update customer standards on file server when new version is released and analyze if changes require actions
  
• maintain necessary information of customer scorecard and define actions in case values are out of specification.

Bachelor’s degree in technical engineering or equivalent by experience;
Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes/techniques;
Knowledge of raw materials linked with sheet metal production;
Solid computer skills: Microsoft office – AutoCAD (2D) – Solid works(3D);
B2 written and spoken technical English;
Knowledge of quality and/or management systems is an advantage;
Knowledge of process improvements techniques is an advantage.

1600-1800 €/mon. net
