Payroll Specialist (Maternity Cover 2 Year)

About the role


As a Payroll Specialist, you will make an impact by supporting accurate, timely and compliant payroll administration and processing for Lithuania. You will be a valued member of the European Payroll team, reporting to the Regional Payroll Lead and working with internal business partners and external vendors.


In this role, you will:

• Consolidate payroll data from multiple sources and submit accurate information to payroll processing platforms.
• Review payroll calculations and reconcile related liabilities, including taxes, social contributions, insurance and pensions.
• Respond to employee payroll queries and provide clear, service-focused support.
• Manage payroll communications with vendors and key business partners.
• Maintain data privacy compliance and support ad hoc payroll activities and special projects.

What you need to have to be considered

• At least three years of relevant experience in payroll administration, payroll processing or a similar role.
• Knowledge of Lithuanian payroll practices and local data privacy requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Lithuanian.
• Ability to organise work effectively, meet recurring deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

These will help you stand out

• Experience using PeopleSoft or another enterprise resource planning system.
• Knowledge of payroll accounting
• Previous experience within HR, Finance or a multinational environment.
• A proactive, service-oriented approach and a commitment to improving internal processes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary Range €33,500 - €38,500 gross per annum
