The company is currently looking for a Purchasing & Supply Chain Specialist to join their international team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. What You Can Expect:
The company is currently looking for a Purchasing & Supply Chain Specialist to join their international team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an international business environment, work with suppliers across Europe and Asia, and contribute to the seamless flow of goods throughout the supply chain. Every day you will:
- Plan purchasing volumes, supply schedules, and inventory levels based on sales forecasts and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) data.
- Manage purchase orders, monitor order execution, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Communicate daily with international suppliers, resolve supply issues, and proactively manage supply risks.
- Analyze ERP data, monitor inventory and supplier performance metrics, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Coordinate transportation, logistics, and customs-related processes in cooperation with external partners.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations and continuous process improvement.
We expect from you:
- 1+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, customer service, order administration, or a similar operational role.
- Good computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office, with confidence working with data and business systems.
- Good English and Lithuanian communication skills.
- An analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- A proactive, well-organized approach and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
It would be an advantage if you have:
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Infor M3, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Knowledge of supply planning, inventory management, or MRP processes.
- Experience working with logistics providers, freight, or customs-related activities.
