We are currently inviting a QA engineer to join our team.
We are currently inviting a QA engineer to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- TESTING TECHNIQUES: perform various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, user acceptance testing, etc.
- BUG REPORTING: identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking tools (e.g JIRA)
- ISSUE TRACKING: track, manage the progress of reported bugs and issues and work closely with the development team to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
- TESTS DOCUMENTATIONS: create test plans/test scripts, execute them, describe test results to ensuring high-quality and defect-free deliverables
- COLLABORATION: collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and define test strategies
- TEST AUTOMATION: develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency
Core Requirements:
- 2+ years experience of working in software quality assurance or testing roles
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of database systems and SQL
- Strong knowledge on identify, document, and track bugs and issues
- Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles
Additional advantages for:
- Experience with automation testing
- ISTQB certificate is an an advantage
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
