At BITĖ, the QA Engineer plays a key role in ensuring product quality and reducing release risks. We are looking for someone who thinks critically, asks the right questions, identifies risks early, and makes pragmatic testing decisions when priorities or timelines change.

At BITĖ, the QA Engineer plays a key role in ensuring product quality and reducing release risks. We are looking for someone who thinks critically, asks the right questions, identifies risks early, and makes pragmatic testing decisions when priorities or timelines change.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and unclear scenarios
- Understand end-to-end business flows and assess the impact of changes across systems and integrations
- Define test scope and prioritize testing using a risk-based approach
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory tests, including negative scenarios and relevant edge cases
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to investigate issues and verify fixes
- Perform manual API testing using Postman and use basic SQL for data validation and investigation
- Contribute to test automation using internal AI tools
- Clearly communicate testing status, risks, limitations, and quality concerns
What we expect
- 2+ years of hands-on QA experience or equivalent practical experience demonstrating independent QA ownership
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify requirement gaps, dependencies, risks, and edge cases
- Experience with functional and regression testing and practical knowledge of API testing; basic SQL is an advantage
- Ability to understand end-to-end business flows and assess change impact
- Ability to work independently and prioritize testing based on risk and business impact
- Comfortable working in Agile teams and adapting to changing priorities
- Telco experience is an advantage
- Good written and spoken English
- Most importantly, a strong quality mindset: curiosity, critical thinking, willingness to ask questions, and courage to raise concerns
