As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions. We are looking for an individual with a passion for automation, deep knowledge of cloud architecture, and a strong background in DevOps practices to join our platform team. Currently, we would like to see a person who has participated in building a private cloud environment and is comfortable with helping us build towards a hybrid cloud environment approach with GCP.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions. Your day-to-day:
- Be the main driver to our private cloud R&D, contribute to our public cloud architecture.
- Take ownership of maintaining the current product infrastructure, ensuring its stability and scalability.
- Proactively analyze systems, identify areas for improvement, and champion necessary system enhancements.
- Support development teams by addressing their needs and promoting a DevOps mindset. Strive towards a self-service future for development teams.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to peers in both technical and engineering topics, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Welcome and contribute to new ideas and projects that enhance our cloud infrastructure and align with organizational goals.

Your skills & experience:
- Experience in building a private cloud or its components.
- Experience in setting and running OpenStack, Ceph, KVM or similar.
- Experience dealing with ordering hardware: compute, storage and networking.
- Good understanding of networking.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers in Linux environments.
- You have successfully owned and delivered projects from small to large size.
- Knowledge and experience with DevOps practices and DevOps Pipeline, including CI/CD, observability and similar.
Salary:
- Gross salary: 3150 - 6950 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
