About the Role:
Summary
As a Senior Electrical Engineer at MEPCO, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-performance building services projects across diverse sectors. You will lead project delivery from concept to completion, support junior engineers, and work collaboratively with dedicated Principal Project Engineer and design teams to ensure technical excellence and innovative outcomes. This is a leadership-focused, hands-on role that requires both deep technical knowledge and outstanding coordination skills.
What this role IS — and IS NOT
This is a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer and project leadership role. You will lead electrical design from concept through construction and handover, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, work directly with clients and project partners, and ensure high-quality, compliant technical delivery. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with leadership, mentoring, and proactive problem-solving across multiple projects.
This is not a purely technical design role with no leadership or client interaction, nor a role where you simply oversee others’ work. It is not a position for someone who prefers to work with minimal collaboration, waits to be directed, or avoids responsibility for project outcomes. We are looking for someone who remains technically hands-on while taking ownership of delivery, coordination, quality, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical design on projects, managing delivery from concept through to construction and handover.
- Champion MEPCOs’ electrical design standards and drive adoption of innovative technologies and sustainable solutions.
- Coordinate and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
- Stay in direct contact with clients, architects, project managers, and contractors, acting as the key point of contact for electrical design matters.
- Prepare technical specifications and fully detailed tender packages, including reports, analysis and recommendations.
- Oversee and perform design and installation quality checks in line with project requirements and industry regulations.
- Develop project scopes in collaboration with the design team and clients.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and graduates.
- Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and site inspections as needed
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years' experience as electrical engineer in projects within the building services sector.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
- Excellent Revit MEP or AutoCAD skills (experience with ETAP, Amtech or Dialux would be an advantage).
- Experience across various sectors such as commercial, healthcare, life sciences, or data centres preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal oversight.
- Client-facing confidence with a collaborative mindset.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks across multiple projects.
- Experience working within an international or multi-site organisation is an advantage.
- Fluency in both Lithuanian and English is a must.
