Senior .NET Back-End Engineer

As a Senior Back-End Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative solutions using modern technologies and tools. Our engineering team consists of a CTO, a Back-End Developer, a Front-End Developer, a DevOps Engineer, Data Scientists, Snowflake Cloud Engineers, and a UI Designer.

You’ll collaborate closely with the engineering team, contribute to architecture decisions, and take ownership of solutions from concept and architecture through development, deployment, and monitoring.

We actively embrace modern AI-assisted development workflows and tools, including Claude Code, as part of our daily engineering practices. We believe AI is most powerful in the hands of strong engineers with solid technical foundations, architectural thinking, and sound engineering judgment. We value developers who can clearly define problems, build meaningful technical context, critically evaluate AI-generated solutions, and use modern tools to deliver high-quality software more effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems and services using C# and .NET.
  
• Participate in architecture discussions and make meaningful contributions to technical decisions.
  
• Collaborate with front-end, data, and cloud engineers to ensure seamless integration across the platform.
  
• Take end-to-end ownership of the development lifecycle — from requirements and solution design to deployment and monitoring.
  
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code, to improve productivity, code quality, and engineering workflows.
  
• Clearly formulate technical tasks, requirements, and implementation context to support effective collaboration with both people and AI-assisted tools.
  
• Critically evaluate implementation approaches, including AI-generated suggestions, to ensure they meet our standards for architecture, maintainability, performance, and quality.
  
• Continuously improve the codebase, architecture, and development processes.
  
• Explore and adopt modern frameworks, tools, and practices that strengthen platform quality and team efficiency.
  
• Keep documentation up to date for all technical solutions and processes.
  
• Ensure quality is at the heart of everything you do — through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
  
• Work closely with the team to further develop our collaboration with BouMatic Robotics, including integrations with milking robots and related systems.
  
• Keep our customers as the number one priority.

• Languages & Frameworks: C# (.NET 9–10), Python.
  
• Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server.
  
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure, Azure IoT Edge, Snowflake Data Cloud.
  
• Front-End: React — we have a dedicated Front-End Developer.
  
• CI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps.
  
• Monitoring & Logging: Azure Monitor, New Relic, Grafana.
  
• Developer Productivity & AI Tools: Claude Code, ChatGPT, AI-assisted development workflows.

• 5+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET.
  
• Solid experience with database design and development, preferably PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms — Azure preferred, AWS/GCP also valued.
  
• Experience with Agile development practices.
  
• Strong engineering judgment and ability to design clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  
• Commitment to writing clean, structured, and well-tested code.
  
• Ability to critically evaluate implementation approaches, including AI-assisted solutions.
  
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, requirements, and solution context.
  
• Structured thinking and strong problem-decomposition skills.
  
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  
• Curious and growth-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for learning new technologies, tools, and development approaches.
  
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools or eager to actively incorporate them into daily engineering workflows.

Bonus if You:

• Have hands-on experience with Python.
  
• Have experience with big data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
  
• Have experience with IoT, cloud integrations, or event-driven architectures.
  
• Have already used AI-assisted development tools in real software development work.
