We’re looking for a Software Commissioning Engineer to join our team and support the successful delivery of automation projects across the EMEA region.
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic commissioning team responsible for bringing our automated systems to life at customer sites. You will work closely with software engineering, controls commissioning, integration management, and customer teams to ensure smooth system integration, high performance, and a successful handover.
This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will have a direct impact on project success and customer satisfaction.

As a Software Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our solutions perform reliably in real-world environments. You will:
- Execute software and system integration tests at customer sites across the EMEA region as part of commissioning project teams
- Analyse, troubleshoot, and document issues, working closely with software development teams to support effective defect resolution
- Record, track, and report commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with established processes and quality standards
- Support system performance and stability by executing throughput and availability tests
- Contribute to system integration and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure readiness for customer handover
- Provide on-site customer support, including training, documentation, and hands-on technical assistance

What you need to succeed
We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills and a proactive, hands-on mindset:
You are a team player who enjoys working in an international environment and takes ownership of challenges to drive solutions forward.
- Experience in Software Engineering, Development, Testing, or System Integration
- A degree in Software Engineering or a related field is desirable
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to analyse issues and document findings clearly
- Familiarity with industrial or automation systems and testing or validation methods
- Good communication skills in English, with a collaborative and solution-focused approach
- Willingness to travel at 70 percent to customer sites across Europe
- A valid driving license to support travel requirements
