As a Strategic Project Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, parts, supplies, and services in line with company policies and procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring competitive pricing, optimal delivery terms, and strong supplier relationships, while supporting operational continuity and cost efficiency across the business.
ABOUT THE JOB:
- Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and services in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures.
- Analyse supplier quotations and lead negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, delivery, and commercial terms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier reviews and pricing analysis.
- Manage pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date changes, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations and confirm delivery schedules.
- Execute purchasing activities accurately and efficiently to support business requirements.
ABOUT YOU:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in large multinational companies; automotive industry experience is considered a strong plus.
- Background in production companies is mandatory, ideally with exposure to R&D‑related activities.
- Project Management experience is a plus.
- SAP knowledge is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Italian is an advantage.
