We are looking for an experienced System Architect to define the specifications and product architecture of new smart meters and communication units. You will translate customer requirements into technical solutions and ensure their complete implementation throughout the design, development, and testing phases.
What You'll Do:
- Analyse customer requirements and define clear technical product specifications.
- Define the product architecture, including hardware, software, customer, and production interfaces.
- Work with embedded software, electronics, mechanical design, testing, and industrialisation teams.
- Track requirements throughout design, implementation, and testing to ensure completeness.
- Act as the main technical authority for project teams and Product Management.
- Support product approval processes and maintain architecture documentation.
- Participate in standards committees and technical working groups.
- Evaluate new technologies and identify potentially patentable solutions.
What You'll Bring:
- A Master’s degree in engineering, electronics, telecommunications, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience developing electricity meters, IoT devices, or similar electronic products.
- Strong knowledge of electricity metering technologies, including AMI, AMR, and smart meters.
- Familiarity with IoT, smart grid solutions, and relevant industry standards.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Experience using GitLab and Microsoft Office.
