About the role:
As a supplier in a very competitive industry, profitability of our business is highly dependent on being able to source components at lowest possible total cost. This means that we are constantly looking for partners that can support us in driving total cost out of our finished products.
Research for new potential partners and developing more business with existing partners will be a part of daily duties.
The position involves travelling up to 35 days per year, particularly in the startup phase. Supplier visits will be an important part of your job.

You will be responsable for:
- Sourcing of furniture components with focus on Europe and surrounding countries: negotiations on pricing /frame agreements; identification of suppliers for new components; supplier evaluation; cost tracking of existing components;
- Responsibility for own portfolio of suppliers
- Participation in cross-departmental projects
- Developing category evaluations and reviews, including preparation of presentations to management and other stakeholders
- Being part of a dynamic organization other job-related duties may be assigned over time.
We believe You have:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or economics – or other equivalent experience
- At least 3 – 5 years of practical experience since graduating (preferably purchasing/sourcing in the furniture industry)
- Fluency in English – verbal and written - is a must
- Thrive on negotiating best possible conditions at any time
- Natural interest in technical products
- Very solid knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint which will be your “go to tools” daily – basic knowledge of ERP systems will be an added benefit
- Positive attitude towards new challenges and easily communicates with people
- Knowledge of Polish or similar will be beneficial
